Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Southern Kentucky Chapter. The RMEF is an international nonprofit organization whose members work to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, and their habitat.

Southern Kentucky Chapter members believe in the mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) and support the organization through fundraising, education and participation in RMEF activities at a local and national level. Through its annual banquet and auction, the Southern Kentucky Chapter has been among the top fundraisers nationally.  Through its involvement in the 1997 release of elk in Kentucky, elk viewing trips and hunting activities, the local chapter has supported the RMEF campaign to "pass it on."
